What Customers Say About HP Pavilion S3620F Slimline Desktop PC (2.5 GHz Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200 Processor, 4 GB RAM, 500 GB Hard Drive, DVD Drive, Vista Premium):

2 usb ports in the front. I can play games on it in medium or low graphics mode. I got this computer from FRYS refurbished, and it's great. Make CDs and movies. I can use multiple programs at once. It has wireless internet. Have a blast on the internet. Make sure to do your price searching as I found it for $399 you can't beat that.

Lots of USB ports (front and back), etc. PC boots fast, goes to sleep and wakes up fast, etc.

It is rare that I can find a good, affordable PC that can keep up with me. I'm a power user, a programmer, and a video creation enthusiast.

This includes a full array of security programs, apps, and email programs running in the background. This one really does the job.

I click, and it is there. The LightScribe and DVD all work well, and the hard drive is decently fast.

Monitor looks great.Negatives would be: the full-feature keyboard is not the best arrangement (SLEEP button next to the TAB key, duh)., and the DVD/CD tray is turned sideways - OK for normal DVDs/CDs but cannot effectively handle the small diameter ones (which most persons do not use).

It just takes a little getting use to. The verdict. Although I will admit I'm not in to heavy gaming, other than an occasional AOL video poker or slot lounge game. I'm beginning to think its a phantom read because it doesn't appear to be a true measure. The computer is streamlined and looks great. I am an XP gal, but have learned to love the qualities in Windows Vista. I'm a big picture person and the number of photos I have in my files is tremendous, yet it still runs fast. I've loaded a few new heavy duty programs on, it hasn't slowed down in the least.

I also play some games on the computer when I'm bored and the quality & speed is amazing compared to many computers I've seen in action and decidedly my older computer. At a performance rate of 3.0 I have to wonder at the accuracy of the score. I bought my HP S3620 the end of November 08 and wanted to give it a good workout before commenting. Yet opening it up, after clicking on show all files, shows absolutely nothing taking up space. Where is the 90% used space I ask. Runs cool and quietly. Its there for a very good reason as I found out. Don't delete it or change any of the registries to obtain more space.

This computer has been great. For the most part, I'm a very satisfied customer.Added April 6, 2009:Just wanted to come back on board and mention the D_Factory drive contains the recovery files. Sure there are a few quirks and if I were more computer sauvey I'd delete what I'm not utilizing, if it would save more mem. One quirk that has driven me nuts is, when bringing up the D: factory_image/or properties of, the bar indicates all but 10% of my space is free on that drive. Its smaller than the C Drive and is meant just to hold the recovery files and 10% extra free space. Still more than satisfied with my computer.

Very well pleased with Amazon.com customer service and the hp Slimline PC.I thought the smaller unit might run at a higher temperature, but was surprised at how cool and quiet it operated. At age eighty-five, I think the 500 GB of hard drive will last a lifetime. The wireless feature and smaller size clears the desk of modem, wires and much clutter. Had a little trouble installing webcam software, but after viata updates everything works great. Good deal for the money. Bryce

We love it. It boots up very quickly and it's compact size is great.
